Event Production Team

KEN KOZIOL, Senior Vice President

Ken Koziol is Senior Vice President for Entertainment Solutions, Inc. With over 20 years in the special events industry, Ken has been instrumental in the development and creation of several marketing and event initiatives nationwide.

A graduate of the University of Arizona, Ken held the position of Director of Concerts for the Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA), developing events and entertainment programs for McKale Center Arena and Centennial Hall Auditorium.

Upon graduation, Ken was hired as Marketing and Promotions Manager for KNIX Radio in Tempe, AZ. During that time, his promotions staff grew to ten people as he developed the stations sales sponsorship program. In 1992, Ken was nominated for Billboard Magazine’s Station Promotion/Marketing Director of the year.

After six years of coordinating special events, promotions and marketing for KNIX Radio, Ken founded Image Entertainment Productions, Inc. Growing the business nationwide, Image Entertainment produced local and national events for several corporate and civic clients and included an event roster of more than 250 events per year. Ken sold his business to TBA Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: TBAE) in 1998 and founded Entertainment Solutions, Inc. in 2001.

Entertainment Solutions has produced many successful events, establishing an excellent reputation that has led to its extensive growth over a short period. KEVIN KOZIOL, Senior Vice President of Operations

Kevin Koziol has nearly 20 years experience in the special events industry. Before he graduated with his bachelor’s in Business from the University of Arizona, Kevin was the Director of Concerts for the Associated Students of University of Arizona. He had early experience with entertainment programming, talent negotiation and directing a marketing staff, all while managing and producing concerts at several venues on the U of A campus.

Kevin officially began his event marketing career in 1991 as Operations Manager for the Tempe Festival of the Arts. He was instrumental in the development of the nationally accredited arts festival, which is one of the top 25 events of its kind in the nation.

In 1992 Kevin joined Image Entertainment Productions as Vice President of Operations. He oversaw the implementation and production of more than 250 events per year including corporate programming and special event production. His resulting extensive production knowledge has allowed him to play a vital role in planning and execution of every Entertainment Solutions event. His resume includes the production of several historic events such as the Arizona Diamondbacks World Championship Parade, the Arizona 9/11 Memorial Dedication and the METRO Light Rail Grand Opening.

Kevin’s broad experience includes event layout, design and implementation along with the development of logistics and stage timelines. He also specializes in the on-site management of a large staff roster including production and operations personnel and event volunteers.

Kevin has been the Executive Producer of Tempe’s Insight Fiesta Bowl Block Partysince 1992. His responsibilities include coordinating all logistics and production for the 16-block New Year’s Eve celebration in Tempe, AZ. USA Today has rated the event as one of the Top 10 New Year’s Eve Events in the United States. In February of 2008, Kevin was the Project Manager for the NFL Super Bowl Saturday Night, a multi-sensory event that featured the Counting Crows and an incredible fireworks show in Tempe Beach Park. Nearly 20,000 people attended the free event the night before Super Bowl XLII took place in Glendale, AZ.

CAROLYN REYES, Director of Entertainment
Carolyn Reyes has been working in events for nearly a decade. She began her career by representing and booking local bands around the valley. Her studies in Communications and Special Events at Arizona State University West gave her the foundation and the opportunity to locate talent, organize events and negotiate contracts.

Carolyn has extensive experience in both public and private events. Prior to working at Entertainment Solutions, Inc.she spent much of her time volunteering her services to different organizations, assisting them in acquiring entertainment and managing event timelines. She worked on numerous events throughout the valley including the City of Glendale’s World Port, Glendale Glitters and Chocolate Affair. Carolyn also served as an intern at the 2002 Arizona State Fair where she increased her knowledge of special events.

It was just a year later that Carolyn joined the Entertainment Solutions team, working solely on booking unique entertainment, creating interactive attractions and procuring sponsorships for the 2003 Tempe Music Festival. Her scope has now expanded to coordinating the entertainment for the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon and the Insight Fiesta Bowl Block Party and obtaining new clients for the company. She continues to book local and regional talent for all sizes and varieties of events. DEBBIE YOUNGER, Office Manager

With over 15 years of experience in special event management, Debbie’s history with event planning spans from music festivals to organizing parades and corporate VIP functions.

Raised in Las Vegas Nevada, she moved to Arizona in 1979 to finish her degree at Arizona State University. She started her event career with the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department, Special Events Office. Debbie’s passion and focus for events enabled her to be a major contributor to the city’s annual Fabulous Phoenix 4th, APS Fiesta of Light Electric Light Parade and Sunday on Central events in downtown Phoenix. Debbie focused her talents on handling vendor coordination, event site construction, talent bookings and VIP décor and catering.

After 20 years with the City of Phoenix Special Events Office, Debbie joined the Entertainment Solutions team in September of 2007. As the Office Manager, Debbie is responsible for coordinating all office operations and procedures. She has also proven to be a valuable asset to the team when it comes to managing the on-site event office for the Insight Fiesta Bowl New Year’s Eve Block Party and Circle K Tempe Music Festival. HOLLY BROWN, Sales Manager

Holly Brown was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. Throughout High School she was involved in Student Council and it was there she really found her passion of event planning and marketing. Because of those experiences she chose to continue in her education in that field. In 2008, she graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Recreation and Tourism Management and a certificate in Special Event Management. During her junior and senior year of college she interned at Entertainment Solutions Inc. where she was able to gain hands on experience by assisting in the planning, and implementation of large community and private events. Tempe Music Festival, COX ROX Garage Band competition, PF Chang’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon, Metro Light Rail Grand Opening and Super Bowl Saturday Night Celebration were a few of the events she had the privilege to be a part of.

Upon graduation, Holly took a position with Vestar Development Co. as the Marketing Manager at Desert Ridge Marketplace. After 2 and a half years at Desert Ridge Marketplace Holly was promoted to the Director of Marketing at Tempe Marketplace. During her time with Vestar, she was responsible for planning and executing all marketing programs and events in order to increase shopping center traffic. In order to accomplish that, she created the annual marketing plan and budget, created cross promotional opportunities with partners in the community, managed the website and social media efforts and developed relationships with tenants in order to help effectively market their businesses. SAMANTHA WATERMAN, Marketing and Account Manager
Samantha Waterman was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. She attended Arizona State University and graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and a Bachelors of Art in Tourism Management. She also received a minor in Special Event Management and a Certificate in Convention Sales and Meeting Planning. Although Samantha loved her marketing classes and enjoyed learning about consumer behavior and branding, events were where her heart was. Since her freshman year of college she knew she wanted to have a career in the events industry.

Samantha began by getting involved in the Programming and Activities Board at ASU where she learned how to program concerts, lectures, comedy shows and other special events for ASU’s student body. This eventually led to an event coordinator position at the ASU Foundation. Samantha worked there for three years and coordinated football tailgates for the university president, large dinners and receptions for ASU donors and community enrichment programs showcasing different ASU programs and professors. During her junior year, Samantha had a marketing internship at Desert Ridge Marketplace where she assisted with marketing events for a major shopping center. Some of these events included Arizona’s Next Top Model contest, Twilight Eclipse movie premier and the Dog Days of Summer dog modeling contest. In 2010, Samantha began working as the Registration Coordinator for the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. Here she assisted with community events such as the IMPACT Awards, ATHENA Awards, Mayor’s Reception and other legislative events.

This event experience led her to her joining the Entertainment Solutions team as a production coordinator in May 2011. She loves being able to travel all over the country to work the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series but she also loves seeing her local community come together to put on large street festivals. The joy that comes with seeing an event successfully come together is unlike any other feeling and she hopes to be part of this industry for a very long time. CAMERON MARCOTTE, Production Manager
Originally from rural Illinois, Cameron spent much of her youth volunteering in the hospitals where her mother worked. She later coordinated themed parties in the Oncology Unit of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago. While attending high school in Pittsburg, Cameron met a teacher who was working through tragic time in his life and decided she wanted to help. She single-handedly organized a benefit concert, cookout and powder puff football game to benefit the teacher and his family. Her work included scouting bands from the region as well as booking and drafting contracts for the event. It was at this point that Cameron’s love of music and concerts began to shape itself into a career.

In 2009 Cameron graduated early from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business with a bachelors degree in marketing. While in school Cameron gained valuable industry knowledge by working in the promotions department of the Clear Channel Radio Phoenix cluster. As a Remote Tech she was responsible for planning and executing live station broadcasts and community outreach programs. In addition to radio, Cameron also worked as the Associate Producer of a local Phoenix television show while she finished her degree. This afforded her the opportunity to further develop her organizational and management skills as she led a production team. Prior to graduating, Cameron also completed a marketing internship with Live Nation where she concentrated on developing ad plans for incoming artists and learned how to successfully build and market a show to a target audience.

Upon graduating from ASU, Cameron was offered a full-time Operations Assistant position within Live Nation at Cricket Wireless Pavilion. This required leading a 100+ person part-time staff and handling all show and administrative elements. After working at Cricket for a season she took on new responsibilities by accepting an accounting position at Live Nation. MATTHEW KOZIOL, Production Manager
Matthew was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He attended Gateway Community College for 2 years where he pursued a degree in Business before relocating to Chicago, Illinois. In Chicago, Matthew completed a five-year Journeyman/Apprentice program with Northwest Mechanical in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning) industry.

Although Matthew was based in Chicago, he has played an important role in many major Entertainment Solutions, Inc. events since 2001. Matthew has been a quad manager at the Tempe Fiesta Bowl New Year’s Eve Block Party for over 10 years and Tempe Music Festivalfor 4 years. He also was a lead on-site Operations Manager for the Metro Light Rail Grand Opening, the Super Bowl Saturday Night Celebration Party, and several Rock N' Roll Marathons throughout the country.

Matthew officially joined the Entertainment Solutions Inc. team as a Production Coordinator in February, 2012. His high energy, years of hands-on experience and passion for the event planning industry continue to contribute to the great success of the company. STEPHANIE BELARDE, Production Coordinator
Stephanie Belarde was born and raised in Peoria, AZ. Her passion for events began at an early age as she was involved with many school and dance events throughout her childhood and teenage years. She attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in Recreation and Tourism Management and received a certificate in Special Event Management. Throughout college, Stephanie gained valuable experience by working many local events with Entertainment Solutions Inc.

After graduating in 2009, Stephanie moved to Denver, CO, and completed an internship with Kroenke Sports Enterprises and the Pepsi Center. She was heavily involved with events such as the 2009 Western Conference Finals and 2009 Mile High Music Festival. After completing her internships, Stephanie started her career as a Banquet Supervisor for Omni Hotels, she later accepted a position with “Quaker Steak and Lube” as the Marketing and Activities Coordinator where she was responsible for organizing and executing catering events, private banquets and community functions.

KRISTINA WILSON, Production Coordinator
Kristina Wilson was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended Arizona State University where she developed an interest in Event Planning and Production. While in college, she worked for US Bank and was a part of the Development Network team where she planned weekly conferences at local resorts.

During her senior year she interned with the City of Glendale in the Special Events Department. Kristina assisted the Special Events Department staff with key event planning responsibilities such as entertainment booking, sponsorships, vendor coordinating and permits. Her main projects during her internship were Glendale Glitters Spectacular Weekend and Glendale Glitters and Glow Block Party, both of which have an attendance of 50,000 plus.

In 2012, Kristina graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Tourism Development and Management and a Certificate in Meeting and Conventions Planning. Kristina joined the ESI team as a Production Coordinator in January of 2013. With her love for traveling, music and organization she is excited to begin this experience. KRISTIN BUSHA, Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager
Kristin Busha was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in History, though her career path would lead her into the field of bookkeeping. Starting out at Rhibacom, a low voltage contractor she worked her way up to running the company accounting department. When the company was sold she moved on to Desertwide Properties, a residential property management company working in the accounting department. In November 2012 Kristin joined our team as the Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager where she continues to pursue her passion for the accounting field. Kristin joined the ESI team in November 2012.
